Two days Ago
Two days ago he left me
He called to say goodbye
Didn't say where he was going
Didn't give a reason why.
Two days ago I cried
But I wiped the tears away
I put on a smile
And began another day.
Two days ago was the end of my world
I realized I was wrong
Although a lot of time has gone by
It doesn't seem that long.
Two days ago was forever
And many years have passed
Nothing is for eternity
And nothing ever lasts.
